 St. Louis Church

GovernmentAnonymous writes "Why is the city billing the archdioces of Syracuse for police and fire personnel who were already being paid for duty anyway when the church collapsed?

It looks like the long-fingered politicians want to seek out some deep and innocent pockets to pick in order to feather a nest. If so much money was not splurged on bands maybe it wouldn't be so critical to "shake down" a worthy institution."

HAHAHA! "Worthy" institution?! Yeah, I'll let that speak on it's own merits.

please, a worthy institution would have checked on their vacant property now and again. not let it set for a decade. only "worthy institution" was the group who tried to buy it to save the church. if someone or people were injured or died in the collapse you can bet your sweet arse those deep pockets would be paying dearly. we and they are very lucky to pay the small price of our city employees.
