Pay Attention Crist, Colucci, White, Madden, DeCastro and Tschudy

Schoolsfruss881 writes "Would you support laying off current OCSD staff members to maintain the present tax rate for the 2010-11 budget?
Yes (166 Votes, 54%)
No (72 Votes, 23%)
I would look at extracurricular cuts first (69 Votes, 22%)

That's direct from a palltimes.com poll. The public overwhelmingly supports a reduction of the OCSD's bloated staff. Lay off teachers, increase the teachers workloads, increase the class sizes, and especially fire do-nothing administrators but DO NOT GIVE US A TAX INCREASE!

The current group of administrators and the "Fab Four" majority on the board will lose their control after this May's elections. Hoefer's group will take the majority and will not allow dipsh!ts like Bill Crist and Pete Colucci to have the amount of authority that they currently do. So for the last 4 months that they have power, the toxic group that is in present control should back down and not bind us to massive tax increases.

Make the right decisions and listen to the public."

Someone help me out here, is it normal for School Boards to hold exectutive session every meeting? why does this district? how much is there to hide? why are pay increases talked about in executive session? I thought an exceutive session has to be voted on before they can have one? The purpose of executive session in governmental bodies is not to hide important information from the members or the public, but to protect the innocent. In this case, the information given about the superintendent is true and the innocent are the public who dont know whats being planned behind closed doors, votes that'll take place without our say. decisions that we will pay for. why do we even bother giving the public the vote on who sits on this board if we cant watch what they are doing and tell them how we feel before they vote? i agree with Fran who is only doing what he promised the public who voted for him, thats why i voted for him. I know friends who voted for Decastro for the same reason, his promises. hope we all learn a good lesson here, how important it is to vote in members who are protecting the people. The Failtimes sold some papers today, gotta give them a big pat on the back and kudos to Fran. notice how they print Crist's propose raise but not his salary and benefits. a good article would uncover it all by adding in  our adminstrator's over indulgenent incomes. shame on Bill Crist and the rest of the self-serving admin . hope to see some good candidates come up soon. a vote in May for new BOE members. in this corrupt district, there should be no excecutive sessions.
