dont forget the big pile of trash bags they have in the back of the place. looks like they have been stockpileing it forever must be one more place they owe money to so they cant get trash hauled off. i can only hope the rats dont come into our house from it. when is scriba going stop it. its a health hazzard and nasty to boot. they have tons of junk truck and whatnots with no plates on them all over the place, but if you have one car without plates on it you get a fine. please stop them. if i wanted to live next to a lnadfill i would buy a house in volney. Oswego and Scriba wont be happy till it looks like fulton around here. They wont enforce the codes but they will raise our taxes 2%. remember this come elction time. you cant fix stupid but your sure can vote it out of office

58 Percent Of Americans Believe Economic Conditions In The United States Will Be Good A Year From Now

There is nothing wrong with being optimistic, but there is something wrong with having blind faith that things are going to get better when all of the evidence is screaming at you that things are going to get worse.

According to abrand new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll, 71 percent of all Americans consider economic conditions in the United States to be poor right now, but an astounding 58 percent of them believe that economic conditions in the United States will be good a year from now. So what can account for this? Are they insane? Are they hopelessly optimistic? Do they not want to believe the facts that are staring them right in the face? Well, a lot of it probably has to do with the upcoming election. Most Republicans are convinced that things will be “better” somehow if Romney wins in November. Most Democrats are convinced that things will “continue to improve” if Obama wins in November. But the truth is that the economy has been declining steadily in recent years no matter which party has been in power. Today, the American Dream is out of reach for huge numbers of formerly middle class families. Millions of jobs continue to leave the United States, poverty is absolutely exploding and our nation is absolutely drowning in debt. Sadly, nothing is being done to reverse the long-term economic trends that are destroying us. So, a year from now things are not going to be any better. In fact, many analysts are absolutely convinced that things are going to be a whole lot worse by then.

For example, just check out the following excerpt from a report that was just released by LEAP/E2020….

Thus, according to LEAP/E2020, the 2012 election year, which opens against the backdrop of economic and social depression, complete paralysis of the federal system (3), strong rejection of the traditional two-party system and a growing questioning of the relevance of the Constitution, inaugurates a crucial period in the history of the United States. Wow, that paints a far different picture of the future than most Americans are imagining, eh?

Honeybee swarms!

It's that time of year. If you notice a bee swarm settling on a tree or anything call me and I can give them a home. Do not spray them! They will not sting you, but they do have scouts out looking for a new home and that can bee any void in you homes' exterior or somewhere you don't want them. Re: Scriba Taxes

Does that really surprise you how they conduct business? You obviously are a bit out of touch with Scriba's politics. People that live in Scriba should be paying close attention to what's already gone on, and things that are going to go on daily. Yes nobody up there wants to work on Friday's, but there is only a couple that still do, everyone else Mon- Thursday.
Our forefathers are probably rolling in their graves, everyone needs to start watching, it'll make you sick, all political bullcrap.
Keep on plugging away with your efforts, Im sure you'll find support as long as they are not in the republican control club.

this is about meatl trasnport or kw logistics or the other 15 names mark longshore has put on the side of his death traps. when is DOT going shut him down when is the town going shut that toxic waste dump down. i was behind one the trucks they run and you couldnt see cause all of the black smoke it was blowing. not to mention the board that fell off the side of it. please get rid of them they have killed to many folks as it is. they have a black guy that drives for them thats allways drunk and at oldtimers bar then gets in his blue truck and drives off. ive seen him fall down trying to get in it he was so drunk. they have some drunk living in a camper right next to office. i dont think its zoned for that is it? they have poisned all the wells around them forceing us to be on city water. trucks ideal all night blowing smoke so you cant leave your windows open cause noise and smoke. they havent cut the gras in years so god only knows what in it. the other day my wife saw one of them pissing. when she yelled at him he just said "yea baby you know you want this big hog" when i got home from work he was long gone or he would be a woman right now. i blame alcan for keeping them going. alcan is one of the few places that let them haul for them anymore. Canada has gotten smart and wont let them back. so NY take a page from them and shut them down
