Good idea to shut down Fort Ontario. Who really cares anyways? When was the last time you were there? There are not hordes of tourists knocking down the doors to get inside. Tax dollars are just giving a few history majors jobs so they can justify their boring careers. If you shut it down, the majority of people wouldn't even know anyways ... If you want to reenact something, reenact getting a real job and contributing to society ...

Middletown

I went down to Middletown to stick up for that nice young man who is being persecuted by Ken Eastwood. Roy Paul is a hero in my book.
I also wanted to show Middletown what Eastwood is...I managed to do that without saying a word.

Here is my take on the subject

I think that this is not so much a case of someone complaining about something as it is of someone wanting to see fair enforcement of the existing rules for everyone that is involved in the situation.
Too often, many people who know people in high places get special treatment when they get caught. The little guy gets nailed to the wall while the privileged few get little more than a slap on the wrist as punishment.
All that the "complainers" want to see is equal treatment for everyone. That's the way I feel, too.

The county Leg. is in the process of quietly sliding a nice new P.I.L.O.T. agreement in to place on one or two of the nuke plants. These plants are very profitable NO risk of them closing No need for a P.I.L.O.T. agreement! Don't let it happen (again) people. This one thing would cut our SCHOOL TAXES and COUNTY TAXES in HALF when the old agreement(s) expire(s). Time to load up the county leg. meetings with concerned tax payers or are you to busy?

Downtown Oswego is looking so shady

As you race through the city on your way to and from work, take a look around. Who are these inhibitors? At the luncheon hour, I see bankers run to the bakery and pizzeria on a daily basis, and I emphasize "run." Looking a bit bleak Oswego. Now that's a realistic 20/20 observation.
